Τις κορυφαίες εφαρμογές και παιχνίδια του App Store για το 2020 ανακοίνωσε η Apple, με τα Zoom και Among Us, να καταλαμβάνουν την πρώτη θέση στις αντίστοιχες δωρεάν κατηγορίες.
Παρά το γεγονός ότι δεν ανακοινώθηκε με ποια κριτήρια έγιναν οι επιλογές, οι δύο συγκεκριμένες διακρίσεις φαντάζουν απόλυτα φυσικές: Το μεν Zoom γνώρισε πρωτοφανή ανάπτυξη λόγω της πανδημίας, ενώ το Among Us ήταν ένα από τα παιχνίδια φαινόμενα της χρονιάς που φεύγει.
Κορυφαία εφαρμογή για το iPhone αναδείχθηκε το Wakeout, ενώ το Genshin Impact κερδίζει και στο iOS τον τίτλο του κορυφαίου παιχνιδιού.
